No B.S. extra fees. Our compensation package works best for top producing or soon to be top producing agents. If you are just starting out in the business or not looking to make $100k per year, there are cheaper places for you. And no, it isn't true that all RE/MAX agents have to pay a hefty monthly desk fee. Here are the only requirements to work at the Home of the Experienced Producer; RE/MAX Results:

1. All agents are responsible for paying their annual RE/MAX International membership fee of $390.
2. All agents are responsible for paying their monthly marketing fee of $303 which passes through directly to RE/MAX of New York to pay for your TV ads and exposure everywhere RE/MAX advertises.
3. All agents are responsible for paying for their MLS membership directly to the MLS.

Option 1: The In-House Producer Plan
(you get an exclusive desk at the office)

Sample Commission Check Breakdown: $10,000
95% Commission to Agent: $9,500
5% Commission to Broker: $500

Of the 95% ($9,500)
70% to Agent: $6,650 - Check to Agent
30% Shared Office & Management Expense: $2,850

The 70/30 split is in place only until the agent has achieved a total GCI of $60,000 for the twelve month period starting upon signature of their Sales Associate Agreement. After achieving the $60,000 in GCI, the agent will go on a 95/5 split for the rest of twelve month contract. At the beginning of each new contract signing, the entire process will start over again.

Sample Commission Check Breakdown: $10,000
(AFTER $60,000 in GCI Achieved)
95% to Agent: $9,500 - Check to Agent
5% to Broker: $500

Pre-Pay and Save (if you want to)

Pre Pay Plan Agents are still responsible for items one, two and three. Pre-payments of $1,250 in Shared Office Expense & Management Fee are paid each month. A 95/5 split starts immediately upon initial pre-payment (must be on time every month or pre-payment savings will be revoked.)

Option 2: The Virtual Producer Plan
(you don't get an exclusive desk at the office)

Virtual Producer Agents have the same split as the Producer Plan Agents of 70/30 (see above). However, they achieve a 95/5 split after they earn a total net commission of $45,000, and maintain this split until their current twelve month Sales Associate Agreement expires. At the beginning of their next twelve month Sales Associate Agreement, the commission split will again revert back to 70/30 until $45,000 in total net commissions is achieved for that year.

Pre-Pay and Save for Virtual Producers (if you want to)

Virtual Pre-Pay Plan Agents are still responsible for items one, two and three. Pre-payments of $950 in Shared Office Expense & Management Fee are paid each month. A 95/5 split starts immediately upon initial pre-payment (must be on time every month or pre-payment benefits will be revoked.)

Everything else is the same for all agents.
